Amanda Brugel

(February 27th of 2010 to Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a sleepy community on this part of the island of Montreal called"the West Island. Many people who don't know the name mistakenly believe that they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. Actually it is the West Island includes everything westward of Lachine. Lachine. Amanda Brugel was born there however her stay was not long in the city. Brugel lived in Courtice near Oshawa Ontario. Her early ambition was to dance however a rapid growth rate meant that she literally outgrew her dance partner. In an article published in the Toronto Star she admitted In heels, I'm 6'1 inch. As I grew older than my male partners I stopped. Brugel was one of many former dancers who turned to acting. Her high school teacher school encouraged her to take the next step. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to pursue a role for the school's annual production. After a few auditions the role, she was chosen as the leading lady in Anne of Green Gables. It led to her receiving a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at York University. In the last 20 years, Brugel's roles on television and the big screen have varied. The character of Rita in the award-winning series The Handmaid's Tale was her most notable. Brugel was the character Rita in The Handmaid's Tale which was produced over the course of ten years.
